YOU CAN'T HAVE IT ALL

You Can't Be The Best Person On Earth.
   "His thoughts towards me is evil. He doesn't want anyone to succeed". Marcel spat out.
   "Don't say that. May be he is going through some difficulties. Is that the way he behaves to his friends." His wife asked.
  "Yes". Marcel replied emphatically.
  "In that case, you should stop asking him for help. You are a man, we can do something on our own without his assistance." His wife convinced him.
   Marcel lost his job few months ago. He worked with the best banks in the city until he was told that they don't need his service anymore. Marcel did not want to work with any firm after spending 20 years as a banker. He decided to start up a farm but he needed a lot of money. He went to see his childhood friend Frank who runs a biscuit factory.
  Unfortunately for Marcel, he met with disappointment. Frank simply told him that he can't give him a dime because he doesn't want him to be richer than him. Marcel was perplexed. He didn't expect that from his childhood friend.
   He took his wife's advice and got a loan from the bank to establish a livestock farm. At first it didn't turn out well. Gradually, the farm expanded. He began to generate a lot of money from his farm that totally changed his status.
    As for Frank, he was swindled as a result of his selfish desire to acquire more wealth for himself. He became bankrupt. All his friends had turn their backs on him. The only person available is Marcel.
   "I am not expecting you. What a surprise!" Marcel announced as he opened the door for Frank.
  "Yes. I need your help friend. I am about to lose my factory. Please help me." Frank said pleading.
  "I should help you? How?" Marcel asked sarcastically.
 "I am deeply sorry for what I said. I forgot the fact that one can't have everything. I am greedy and selfish. I abandoned you when you needed me. Take a look at me, I am suffering." He said with tears.
  "How much do you need? Marcel asked him.
  "I need #10 million to get back on my feet." He said.
  "I have forgiven you my friend. I will give you a cheque of #15 million to solve your financial problems. Is that okay?" He asked
 "You are asking me? Thank you." He hugged his friend.
   Don't ever think you can be the best in everything. Life has different lessons to teach. Remember that anyone that doesn't want others to succeed will remain stagnant.
