How does one lead his/her life to desired destination?
Desired destination: means a place where one can be called success/being successful. success is defined in each individuals context.what success mans to me ,might not mean success to another person. success is an individual thing but many are not successful because SUCCESS demands more than most people are willing to offer,but not more than WHAT they are capable of giving ,the thing that often makes the difference is GOOD LEADERSHIP. There is a saying"unless we help others find solution to their pain,we can never relieve ourselves of pain"with good leadership you will help many other people to their destination and arrive at your desired destination
⦁ God leadership is giving up what is in order to reach the TOP. good leadership is focusing on your responsibility to make a difference in the lives of the people you need.
⦁ According to Greek philosopher socrates said"let him that would move the world,first move hmself".
⦁ According to Frances Hesselbein he observed that"leadership is much less about what you do,and much more about who you are" many people's leadership is an opportunity to manipulate people for their personal interest. Most of our politicians now are doing a lot of things that are contrary to their person.
⦁ good leadership begins with leaders knowing WHO THEY ARE. KNOW THYSELF .Real leadership is about understanding yourself first. when you don't know yourself ,you can't get the best out of yourself.
⦁ How do you get the best out of what you don't know? knowing yourself on a deeper level isn't quick and easy. it is a long process that takes time and it's not always fun. but it is necessary if you want to become a GOOD LEADER. As a matter of fact self-knowledge is the foundation to effective GOOD LEADERSHIP
⦁ Immediately we understand our thoughts and feelings, transformation can take place. Most factors that are limiting us as a person are rooted in our fears ,ego,needs and unproductive habits
⦁ Knowing yourself helps you analyse your own strengths and weakness.
⦁ You know which kind of people you work well with,you understand your temperament.
⦁ You have a sense of where you are going and how to get there, meaning you understand how to put the 3 to work
i. HEAD: You have the blue print in your head and and how to go about it. clarify the vision.
ii. HEART: Most times the way we plan to get to our destination in our head is not how we get there. there are challenges we encounter on the journey that will affect our EMOTIONS such as disappointments, ridicules and so on, we must shallow or pride and endure the pains and move on.
⦁ HAND: we will use our hand to mold what we visualize into reality. our future lays in our hand. there is work,efforts that makes dream a reality.we cant separate work from success.

⦁ Our values are the soul of our leadership and they drive our behavior.
⦁ As a leader you must have a a clear understanding of values and commitment to live them consistently
⦁ Your values will shape your behavior and influence the way you lead you life.
VALUES SUCH AS:-
⦁ ETHICAL VALUE- What does it mean to do the right thing for the right reason?
⦁ RELATIONSHIP VALUE- How do you build an environment of trust and respect with others. if people don't like you they won't follow you as a leader
⦁ SUCCESS VALUE- What does success means to you as a person?, what goals are worth spending your life on?
If anyone can commit to establishing these values and having them,such person will develop the integrity that will have him/her attractive to the society at large and they will be willing to follow and recognize him/her as a leader.
